The K1K9™ High-Performance Center is the US-CSOG training center. Same center. Same doctrine. Same hands. This is where the K1K9 program was built, and where every K1K9 is developed before it is presented to a household.
What makes the K1K9 different is that these dogs are personally crafted and built for specification — a thing very few protection canine providers can honestly say. This is not a negative comment. It is a simple fact.
The reason is that a large portion of the protection canine world are individuals who decided to put a label on a business and get into the industry. The vast majority of them have zero experience in real deployment in a high-kinetic environment that is non-police and non-military — where the operator is surrounded by criminals, in a facility, without the reset conditions of a training exercise. That environment is the environment where our doctrine was written.

That is the difference. There is no third answer.
We are often asked what our dogs are trained in, where they train, what their nutrition looks like, how our dogs become what they are. The truthful answer is that if you look at individuals who own a Giant Schnauzer on occasion, or who claim to have Giant Schnauzers in their program, we invite the viewer to compare directly: place a High-Performance Giant Schnauzer next to a traditional Giant Schnauzer.
They may share the same temperament class. They may share the same background lineage on paper. They are not the same in genetics, and they are not the same in how they are developed. That is what stands out about the K1K9 program.
Our K1K9s, on average, in muscular shape, jaw development, neck, forelimb substance, chest depth — everything about them says they are prepared to serve their principal or their handler at the highest operational peak performance level. Another separator: if you look at the traditional protection canine role, many of those dogs are very good in the bite and very good in obedience — and that says a great deal about their training. But that is where it stops.
When you look at a crafted, built K1K9, the athletic build, the musculature, the mindset — it is a holistic result of a holistic process.
We work with the canine as a whole. Leaving anything out is an unacceptable result.
